Sunday Afternoon

This Sunday, I'm unusually happy.

I've noticed lately, I've been happy for no real reason. I know it's God working in my life. :)

Wanna know a few random things I'm doing this afternoon? Here comes randomness! :D

1. I made a card for one a my friends who's birthday is this week.
2. Listening to music on Playlist.
3. Can't wait to eat strawberry shortcake before leaving for church tonight! :)
4. Writing out songs from church. (From the chorus books we use)
5. Posting on my blog...but y'all know that already.
6. Editing pictures.
7. Possibly writing to Miss Laurie.
8. Cleaning up the mess I made from the first thing on the list...:/ (I get distracted easily...:D)
9. Drawing or Writing.
10. Singing randomly because I'm hyper.
11. Reading my Bible!

Lots of things to do! I'm totally loving my Sunday afternoon!

Strawberries!

I love strawberries! :D

Today Mama and I went strawberry picking, it was so nice out in that field you wouldn't imagine,even though there were tons of people picking today!

After picking for about an hour and a half, we finally got our ten quarts of strawberries!

Once we paid for them and got them loaded in the van we went to a small country store to buy some chocolate milk and some cookies for a little snack before we headed home.

Once we got home, I took some pictures of them....here they are!

Cherry, I mean strawberry anyone?

The berry on the right was so huge compared to most of the other berries we got.

After being cut...wouldn't this make a great summer header??? :)

Sugar piled on top, looks like mountains covered with snow to me!

Things to do with strawberries:

• Eat - plain or with sugar
• Make Strawberry Shortcake - with extra whip cream piled on top!
• Throw at each other...- seems like a fun idea...right? ;)

Now that we have the first picking done...I can't wait to do it again! :D

Even the little slugs we brought home were happy with the berries!

Flowers and a few extras...

Today, I went to take pictures of the flowers in our flower boxes...I got caught up in taking pictures and forgot about taking flower pictures and a couple (4 actually) water pics and one sky pic found their way onto my camera.

Gunther! :) What a sweetie...sorry it's so blurry he was really close!

(Gunther is an indoor cat so he's not aloud outside...)

I'm getting less and less afraid of the 'Publish Post' button...I'm remembering what I need to do to make the post *almost* perfect in the first try...spell checker helps a lot! :D I'm also using Miss Laurie's laptop instead of mine so it's a lot faster at getting the pictures up.

Tomorrow we are going strawberry picking and I'm really excited! I'll be taking my camera and we'll see if I can remember to get it out and take a few pictures. :)

On the road...camp bound!

Today we took my sister Miss Laurie to camp.


Reasons why I want her to go... :P

• I'll get to use her super fast computer for the 10 days she's gone (!!!)
• I'll get to see people I haven't seen for like 2 years.
• She'll get to work at camp and take tons of pictures and write letters and tell about funny things that happen at camp. :)

• She'll be gone...I mean I love her and all, but sisters need time away from each other sometimes!
• And last but not least I'll get to write her letters! I love writing letters. :)
  

Reasons why I don't want her to go....

• I'll miss her, miss talking every night, miss laughing with her...*sniff* (whoops! she'll be back soon enough. :P)

• I don't really have a second reason...

Happy Father's Day!

Monday...

Happy Monday Everyone!

We went shopping with a friend today. I found some fun paper for my scrapbook and I thought I might post a picture so y'all could see! :)

Shopping, Shopping, Shopping!

Hey there!
Are y'all having a good weekend so far?

Yesterday, (Saturday) us girls went shopping! :) I love shopping with my mom and sister! We have so much fun just looking, not being rushed by the guys trying to hurry through the shopping. We often find great bargains and things we wouldn't have found if we didn't have time to dig through bins and shelves of stuff.

After that momma found this really cool fabric that we all thought would look good as a skirt!...



Isn't it interesting? I'm still not sure if it will look *perfect* as a skirt but we'll see. :)

A Monday Walk and Dominoes
