Fall!!!

It's here! It's officially been autumn for a week and a day. (the sky still hasn't fallen just so you know)

I have yet to take pictures of the lovely trees and other fall things around, but I will. I promise!! Besides, I absolutely need a new header! =)

My lovely laptop that died last night

I'm out a computer now...and happily using my mama's laptop instead. =)

School is great! Last night I had a speech to give (to my dad) and he said I did pretty good. (!!!)
It was only my second speech and I was quite nervous...but after getting over self I did fine.

Okay, I've been thinking about some random things this week and here are a few...

  1. Christmas. Yeah, I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet! But I've been thinking about it and wanting snow since a few weeks ago. Odd, isn't it? Partly it's the music. I love Christmas music and I want December to be here so that I can listen to it without being reminded it's not Christmas yet.
  2. Stories....yes, I like writing. I just never finish a story. Ever. I get bogged down in the details and then leave the story to collect dust in some old notebook. Then one day, I find the notebook and look through it...only to find that story. I read through, and while reading...I'm thinking, "I could have left that out" or "This really isn't a good story at all"
  3. Junk food. Ice cream (pumpkin or oreo mint!), cookies, boxed macaroni and cheese, french fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings...you know, the kind of stuff you only get at a restaurant! =)
There you have it. Three random things that I've been thinking about this week.
Oh, I forgot something? Yeah, how did you know? I forgot to mention that I've also been thinking about a new header and background for this blog...autumn themed!

Alright, off I go to help get dinner ready. *waves*

Sorry for another silly post, but I've been in a silly sort of a mood lately! =)

The sky is up...or is it?

"Hey, what's up?" is how I'm greeted...to which I answer "The sky" but, is the sky really up?
On the other side of the world, the sky is still up. And the ground is still down.

At my house and at yours things are still happening. Life goes on, right? Life.....meaning the everyday happenings of people all over this world. (The sky is still up remember?)

And right now, my life is....school

One of my photography class pictures

The sky is still up isn't it? I hope so. Don't worry, I'm sure it's not going to fall. You don't have to keep checking every 10 minutes. Really. It's Ok.

Sweetest kitty in the whole world!!

Is it falling yet?? Oh, how exciting that would be! But it's not going to fall, I just know it.

And, just to prove my point...

A Sunset

See?? I told you the sky isn't going to fall. The trees are still down...and the trees being attached to the ground, probably means the ground is still down. And the sunset is still up...the sunset still being in the sky proves that the sky is still up and will stay up.
To the disappointment of many of you who are reading this, simply because, the sky falling - if it were to fall - would be a very exciting moment in our busy lives.

But, I must leave...I have to go check on the sky you know!
Just to make sure that it won't fall.

Blessings,
Miss Bea

P.S. The sky still isn't falling...oh, just so you know, school really is going great and I'm actually enjoying it pretty well. =) Tootles!

Last day of vacation fun

Today is officially my last day of summer vacation. Tomorrow I step into a whole new world...that world is called High School. Where I'll see a lot of this:

What's that? You'd like to know what's been keeping me away from blogging? Simple. Camping.
Miss Laurie and I have been camping out in the tent...set up in the front yard. That and I just haven't felt like editing photos and getting them ready to put on...blog. (said wrong but you get what I mean)

So anyway...

The lovely tent that we set up all by ourselves!! =)

We took Gunther out to the tent to see what he'd do. Yes, he was slightly scared.

We were letting the tent air out before we took it down and a butterfly came in. I got it to land on my finger and I took a picture because it was just so cute!

On Monday we went hiking. We had lots of fun playing in the water, as it was rather hot that day

>
It was also very pretty there...

We saw a very large spider, which I almost touched

>

And, as I promised, the pictures of my tie-dye shirt. =)

And, one of the bestest kinds of candy on earth...Smarties!!

I hope you all have a very, very good Sunday.
In Christ,
Miss Bea
