This is the one picture I took today. I really need to get better at this! It's of Shawn & Gus in my window. It's the only one I opened today because it only got up to about 35-40 degrees, and it was raining. 

Some things I posted today:

"Mom's list of things for me to do today: Don't panic, and clean the house.  Thanksss mom. Have a great lunch with your friend. =]"

Tomorrow is the last day before we go to pick up my friends, and I'm slightly in a panic about the house being  so messy. Especially my bedroom! But I did get some cleaning done while my mom was at lunch with her friend. Here's what I got done:

• Clean the toilet, shower, sink & mirror
• Vacuum the rugs
• Take the things I'm getting rid of down to the basement to be stored
• Laundry

I've done 9 loads of laundry in two days - 5 from last night folded and put away, 2 from earlier today folded, 1 in the dryer & 1 in the washer.

I got a shower for myself, and shopping for party stuff done today. 

Now all that's left is cleaning the house (dishes, sweeping, general picking up, some vacuuming), decorating favor boxes and putting stuff in them, cleaning my room...(I still have tons of stuff to put away, and no place to put it!), and final plans for meeting up with friends, where & when. 

I'm ready to panic. I really really really am.

Right now, I need to get some sleep, and do my best not to panic (too much) tomorrow. 

Hopefully all plans will work out alright, and we'll have a good time. 

Pray for me and my nerves tomorrow please!! We'll need help from the Lord to get it all done! 

I'm loving this song. The words are so true and right for this time.

I love that line "I find You might and strong". I know I will find God might and strong, and he WILL hold me together while my "world" seems to be falling apart. =]

I posted this on Monday: 

"Sorting, dejunkifying, and cleaning. Wonderfulness! :P I'm still not done with my room...do I really have that much junk? Ugh..."

As I'm organizing and dejunkifying I'm finding so many things that aren't a necessity for happiness. No *thing* ever can be, that's God's job.  

In this drawer alone, I found enough "junk" to fill half a Walmart bag.  Really! Now that that's done, I can actually open the drawer without having to readjust things, and I can fit a hairbrush in it! Which, I haven't been able to do for...well, let's just say a long time!  I'm still not done with my room. I have so many boxes still left to go through and find homes for the things inside. It's been hard, and stressful at times, but I feel pretty good about all the things I'm letting go. 

I know my room is going to look great when I get it done, so I'm not giving up, even if it is overwhelming.  

I found out today that both the friends who I sent invitations to will probably be able to come! And I'm so excited, I just can't wait to see them!  I'm praying all the details will work out, and that we'll all get along okay, and have a good time together.  And also that I'll be able to find time for all the things I still need to do, like cleaning and organizing my room, and helping to clean the house. 

Tomorrow's only Wednesday. I have to keep reminding myself of that. Otherwise, I'll go crazy! 

I'm excited though, and happy my friends are coming. 

I hope you all had a good day! I know I sure did. The temps were around 60 for most of the day today and I've been wearing shorts again! 

Well, I'm off to finish picking up the living room where my stuff is cluttering up the floor!

I got this card in the mail on Friday, and it totally made my day. 

This was the other side. (I whited out the addresses for privacy)

Oh, by the way, I'm excited.  =P 

Only a little though...haha. My friend reminded me tonight that it's only 9 days away. 

I didn't even realize! Now I'm even more excited!!

Today I got my dad's old Dell Latitude D430 laptop. It's smaller, and faster then my old one. 

I'm pretty happy with it, though it has a different operating system then mine did, and I'm still learning my way around.  

Today I made dinner. Box mac and cheese, pigs in a blanket and baked beans. Easy, but it takes awhile for just one person. Especially when the cans of Pillsbury rolls wouldn't open. That required hitting them against the edge of the counter until the top popped off. Fun night! =)

Today I ate girl scout cookies. Thin Mints are super yummy! =D

Today I was stressed out about whether or not my friends will be able to come. Partly because I had a dream that the dad of one of my friends called to say that he had a meeting that night and he couldn't bring her.  I don't think it's fair to have a bad dream about this every night since I sent out those invitations! 

It may be better then the dream about my mom having twin boys and naming them Spotty and Laurie with some strange unpronounceable Japanese middle names....I didn't even get to meet them! 

I tell you...my mind sometimes.

Today was Saturday. 

Today I'm thankful for music, and friends. Also for invitations that I can worry about. I mean, what else am I going to do with my time?

I think the plants are confused. 

That's all I have to say.

Kidding - I'm gonna keep typing. 

Let's see...today we went to the bank, went to another bank, went to Subway for lunch, and I got picked on by the guy making our sandwiches.  He had a pen tucked in his visor, and he had trouble with both the mayonnaise bottles he tried using.

Gunther decided since I moved the ladder off the top bunk, that he would try using my desk and bookshelf to get up on my bed...until he knocked over a bottle of perfume, and I ruined his evil plans.  (I'm  not allowing him to get up there because I have a pretty bed doll with a crocheted dress and ribbons on it, and I would rather he NOT eat the ribbons.)

Later I took some pictures outside, and played some basketball, but it got too cold so I came in.
Uhh...oh! Yeah, later we'll be going out shopping, annnddd...stuff.

After riding along while my mom took my sister to work, I walked into my room where I had made my bed this morning, thinking that I might find Gunther on the top bunk.  Not only did I find him up there, he was under the covers too! What a silly goose.

Today it got up to 60 degrees here, and I was wearing shorts and a tee-shirt all day.  I also wore my rain boots because that's what the ground called for today.  I think it might be officially mud season here! =D

Which means Spring is right around the corner! We saw geese flying north, and some Robins in our back yard today. And when I went to get the mail there was a small stream running through the ravine behind the mail box. We opened the windows for awhile, it felt soo nice outside. 

Today I was working on organizing the stuff that needs to go back in my room, and getting it sorted into "keep", "trash", and "goodwill" piles. I'm hoping instead of sending it all to Goodwill, we'll be able to have a yard sale, and make a little money off of some things.  Or that I will be able to pass some of my old toys off to younger girls that I know. 

I'm finding I have 2 whole boxes (and maybe more) of crafty things. Paint, stickers, paper, stamps, markers, crayons, ribbon, string, glue, and lots of other things too. 

I'm thankful today for not falling off the top bunk, and for music. 

I'm praying today that my friends will be able to come for my birthday. I'm excited, if you can't tell...
