An American Girl Holiday is a 2004 television film, based on the American Girl children's books written by Valerie Tripp. The film follows young, wealthy Samantha Parkington's adventures with three poor orphan girls. After many trials, the orphans find a permanent home with Samantha and her family. Shot in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the 86-minute film features lavish period costumes and settings, and was nominated for three awards, winning one.Samantha is the first in the series of An American Girl films.

I really love this movie and the other four American Girl movies (Felicity, Molly, Kit and Chrissa).
I enjoyed reading the books, I've read all of them excluding Julie, Rebecca, Kaya and some of the extra mysteries and short stories. Although Kit is my favorite, I think I read through the Samantha books the quickest.

Have you seen this movie? If so, what did you think of it?
What's your favorite Christmas movie?
