Today I am...{3}

Today I am...
(and lately I have been...)

{Writing}
I'm doing this daily scripture writing plan for January:
It's fun and super easy, plus it only takes a few minutes every day!

{Reading}
This year I'm reading through my Bible
I'm also reading North & South

{Listening}
Lately it's been Pentatonix because their Pandora Christmas channel is like my favorite, but then Fernando Ortega, and some Hammered Dulcimer music.
Also one of my favorite hymns that someone sang as special music last Sunday, Little is Much if God is in it.

{Watching}
For a while I've been watching Once Upon a Time, and Heartland.
For Christmas we watched a lot of different Christmas movies.
The latest movie I saw was Beauty and the Briefcase.
I got the new Cinderella movie, and Inside Out for Christmas.

{Looking}
Because Pinterest is amazing, I've been searching for animal blankets to crochet.

{Learning}
How to drive.

{Feeling}
A lot of things. I main thing is I've been tired, and almost depressed. I think it's the time of year, winter just gets me down usually but this year there's no snow, and I'm bummed.

{Anticipating}
Having a whole week off of work! I wasn't happy at first but now I'm really looking forward to it, and starting to plan how I'm going to spend it, and what crafts I'm going to get done.

{Wishing}
I'm wishing I had a 5-year journal. And that there were more hours in the day.

{Loving}
Warm hoodies and socks. Also, I got a new king size fleece blanket for Christmas. It's really warm. I also love sleeping. Sleeping is good.

What have you been doing lately?

Disney Button Contest - My Entries!

I'm entering in Stephanie's Disney Button Contest.
I made 5 entries. Here they are:

This one I thought up while my sister and I were talking about entering this contest:
Picture from: The Aristocats
Quote from: Emma (2009)

I personally didn't think this was as funny, but I'm still entering it, you never know who might think it's hilarious!
Picture from: Enchanted
Quote from: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)

While looking through quotes on IMDB from one of my favorite movies, I found this quote and thought it would go perfectly with this picture:
Picture from: Tangled
Quote from: Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium

Looking through quotes on IMDB again, I found this quote, but I wasn't sure if it exactly went with the picture, so I showed it to my sister to get her opinion. She laughed hysterically when she saw it so I decided it went perfectly. =)
Picture from: Home on the Range
Quote from: Pride & Prejudice (2005)

And lastly, another Tangled one. I love, love, love this quote! And it goes perfectly, what can I say?
Picture from: Tangled
Quote from: Night at the Museum 2

So, I hope you like them! It took me awhile to figure out what quotes went with what pictures, but then all at once I found a few good quotes and the pictures to go with them. =)

On another note:
Okay, I admit it. I'm a bad blogger. Yup.
I haven't posted my Photo-A-Day in10 days. Ugh....I really don't know what happened!
I didn't even really take pictures every day either. I'm just bad... ='(
Anyways. I'm gonna post the pictures from the first few days I missed and some older pictures to make up for the lack of picture taking. Hopefully those will be posted sometime soon. You know me though, sometimes I don't get around to it. Like the literature blog post I was supposed to do on my school blog. I had all weekend to do it, but I didn't. Why? I don't know. I'm just strange like that.
Instead I listen to songs on the computer and think about doing what I need to do, but never do it.

I have another announcement too, that I haven't posted about yet. :-|
I'm going to! But I'm not promising anything. I probably won't do it if I promise.... =P

Did you have a good weekend?
Do you like my Disney buttons?
Do you procrastinate as much as I do?

Randomness....10 things

10 random things? I think so!

1. Snow - We just got over a foot in one storm! I'm excited!!

2. Music - The other day I was listening to a Selah CD that I borrowed from Miss Laurie (You Deliver Me) and I heard this song that sounded familiar...it was titled, God Be With You. When I had heard it for about the 2nd time I thought, hey that sounds like...but I couldn't think of where it was from...Do you know?

3. Crochet - Last month, my family worked on making scarves for the Special Olympics in our state. We made 36 total. (pictures to come) =)

4. Snow Cream! - While the snow that we got makes it hard for travel, it makes great snow cream. We put a bowl out yesterday to catch some fresh snow to make it with....haven't made it *yet*, though I'm sure we will.

5. Movies - The last movie I watched was...Alice in wonderland, the old version. =)
I also watched City of Ember recently, and enjoyed it.=)

6. *New* blog design - Like it? It's simple yet....(your own words here)
Give me your opinion, please? Like the font? =)

7. Dessert - I love dessert!! =) Cookies, Ice cream, Cake, Brownies, Chocolate! All of it!! =)

8. School - I'm loving school (at the moment) ;D Instead of photography, I'm learning computer programming, (love love love!!) all the things you can do are amazing! I'm also having fun with Algebra...I know, I know, strange but...yeah. =)

9. What else....hmmm....think random.......Oh! I know...It's February! =D

10. I'm off to work on my newest scarf.

There! 10 random things. Why 10? Because I didn't think I could do it. =)

(Silly post I know, but sometimes, you just have to be silly!)

Your Grace Still Amazes Me...

The little things in life, the things we should be grateful for but aren't, those things that don't quite go our way...why don't we praise God for them? Why not give God the glory in ALL things, not just when they go our way, but especially when they don't.

Why Not?

I was going to do this on Thursday and title it "Thankful Thursday" but why not post it now?

The Grinch

"Inside a snowflake like the one on your sleeve, there happened a story you must see to believe."
"I'm glad he took our presents. You can't hurt Christmas, Mr. Mayor, because it isn't about the... the gifts or the contest or the fancy lights. That's what Cindy's been trying to tell everyone... and me. I don't need anything more for Christmas than this right here: my family."
Narrator: "The Whos young and old would sit down to a feast, and they'll feast, and they'll feast."
The Grinch: "And they'll feast, feast, feast, feast. They'll eat their Who-Pudding and rare Who-Roast Beast. But that's something I just cannot stand in the least. Oh, no. I'M SPEAKING IN RHYME!"
"It's because I'm green isn't it?"

Narrator: "And the more the Grinch thought of what Christmas would bring, the more the Grinch thought..."
The Grinch: "I must stop this whole thing!"
The Grinch: "Why, for year after year I've put up with it now. I must stop this Christmas from coming... but how? I MEAN... in what way?"
The Grinch: "It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes, or bags."
Narrator: "The Grinch thought of something he hadn't before."
The Grinch: "Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas..."
Narrator: "He thought"
The Grinch: "...means a little bit more."

Cindy Lou Who: "We're gonna crash!"
The Grinch: "Now you listen to me, young lady! Even if we're *horribly mangled*, there'll be no sad faces on Christmas."

Cindy Lou Who: "Santa?"
The Grinch: "WHAT?"
Cindy Lou Who: "Don't forget the Grinch. I know he's mean and hairy and smelly. His hands might be cold and clammy, but I think he's actually kinda... sweet."
The Grinch: "SWEET? You think he's sweet?"
Cindy Lou Who: [nods] "Merry Christmas, Santa."
[goes upstairs]
The Grinch: "Nice kid... baaad judge of character."

"For the next 5 minutes only, 99% off!"

"What's that stench? It's fantastic."

"Those Whos are hard to frazzle, Max. But, we did our worst, and that's all that matters."

This is one of my favorites! =)

In Christ,
Miss Bea
